Barbara Joan Taft Obituary

Barbara J. Taft, age 85, of Alexandria, VA, passed on January 7, 2018. She was born in Providence, RI, lived most of her life in VA, moved to Spring Hill, FL in 2002, and returned to VA in 2015. She was Roman Catholic by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Walter Taft and her grandson Michael Emerson in 2017. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Susan of Sarasota, FL; daughter, Kathleen Emerson and husband Rick of Alexandria, VA; two grandchildren, Michelle, and Danielle; and four great grandchildren, Jonathon, Bryana, Gregory, and Gabriel. Memorial Mass on February 7, 2018, 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini. Burial to follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
