Barbara Joy Bell, age 78, Indian Harbor Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2018 surrounded by her family and the love that she spread so generously. From her birth in Huntington West Virginia, on February 18, 1939 to her death on Saturday, she loved and encouraged her children and family, was a delight and inspiration to her friends, and shared her gift of sewing and craft to those she loved and those in need. She was the youngest of 5 children born to William P. Waldeck and Lilly Brunk. She truly lived a life of self-sacrifice, providing early on for her two boys and later for their wives, her 5 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In her eyes, her children and family could never do wrong and she was a constant source of optimism and hope for them all. Her friends were just as important, having so many over the years. During the latter part of her life she created dozens of crafts, provided many hand-made quilts to those in the hospital, and left a special legacy of her love and talent wrapped in her craft to each of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two boys, Craig and Charles and their wives Beth and Kim; five grandchildren, Keegan (wife Krista and great grandson Axton), Carrick, Emily, Jacob, and Melissa; her brother Howard (wife Mary Jane) Waldeck; and her sisters/brother-in-love Shirley Pia, Don and Dolores Cawthon. Words cannot express how greatly blessed we all were by her presence and influence in our lives. She will be immensely missed and cherished by those she loved and touched with her wonderful life.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday, March 10th. Details will be provided at a later date.
