Betsy (Larson) Walker, 85 of Brooksville passed away at her home on August 4, 2017 from respiratory failure. She was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She moved to Brooksville 3 ½ years ago from Lakeland. Betsy is Presbyterian by faith. She is a retired teacher, and made a difference in many children's lives. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Betsy is survived by her daughter, Susan Overstreet (William) of Brooksville; 3 sons, Richard Walker (Jan) of Seminole; John Walker of Valrico; Stephen Walker (Kim) of Lakeland; 5 grandchildren, Dr. Erin Walker, Nicholas Walker, Ian Walker, Emily Overstreet and Luke Overstreet.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, Aug. 7th from 4-5 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at Brewer & Sons, Brooksville Chapel.
