Caroline "Aunt Carol" Leone (nee Jarocki) died peacefully at Cornerstone Hospice at Orlando Health on May 3, 2016 in Orlando, FL at the age of 98.

Caroline is survived by her nieces, Barbara (Felice) Laconca of Winter Garden, FL and Christine Gebicki of Randolph, NJ, nephews, Paul Leone and Sal Leone of New Port Richey, FL, great nephews, John (Jennifer) Laconca of Orlando, FL and Brian Leone of Spring Hill, FL, great nieces, Melissa (Tom) Alexander of Winter Garden, FL, Jennifer (Chris) Carlson of Spring Hill, FL and Jessica Leone of New York, and her newest great great nephew who brought immense joy to her final days, Nicholas Alexander. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Leone, sisters Henrietta (Andrew) and Helen (Chester) and a number of friends and loved ones whom she enjoyed so many special times with.

Caroline was born on January 29, 1918, in Greenpoint (Brooklyn), NY to Benedict & Marianna Jarocki. She married Joseph Leone, her co-worker at Jack Frost Sugar Factory, in 1947. She later took a job with the State of New York Department of Motor Vehicles until her retirement in 1982.

Prior to her husband's passing, Caroline and Joseph regularly traveled by transcontinental rail from New York to places like Canada, Los Angeles (to see the Dodgers in their then new home), San Francisco, and Las Vegas.

Caroline moved to Spring Hill, FL in 1987 with her sister Helen and niece Barbara and their families.

Caroline enjoyed arts & crafts projects and made countless plastic canvas decorations for herself and her family. Her attention to detail made each piece exceptional. They were lovingly referred to as, "Aunt Carol Creations."
