Cecil Ray Mowery, 82 died on August 10th at Countryside Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. He was born on December 7, 1933 in Indiana. He was a father, Grandfather, and loving husband to M. Jean Mowery. Cecil was retired from Coca-Cola in Dunedin, Florida. He worked security for sixteen years at Cypress Run in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Cecil was preceded in death by his father Cecil Melburn Mowery Sr. and mother Lillian Mae Mowery and is survived by his wife, M. Jean Mowery, along with stepsons, James Urness Jr. and wife Janine and Jeffrey Urness. Cecil is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two brothers, Bill and Jack Mowery of Indiana.

Cecil and Jean loved to go cruising a couple of times a year in their early marriage. They loved seeing the islands and just spending time together enjoying life. He was also an avid sports fan. He would watch Sunday football and would compare the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Kansas City Chiefs. Cecil and Jim would become the armchair quarterbacks after the games. These times could become lively debates. Cecil was also a big Indiana Hoosiers fan.

Cecil and Jean were together 22 years and married for twenty. They brought each other much happiness. Cecil will truly be missed. We love you Cecil.
