David B. Hicks, 51, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 11, 2017. David was born on September 16, 1965 to Ballard and Geneva Hicks in Tampa, Florida.

David was loved by all who knew him. In his 51 years, David was able to make a difference to so many. A dedicated Christian, David worked as a missionary in Haiti to help build houses, shelters and churches for homeless refugees. He volunteered for Toys for Tots for many years.

David graduated with honors from Robinson High School where he served as class president in 1982. He was also in chorus and Choraleers. and a member of the Christian athletes under Coach Mann at Robinson. He played football for Robinson and was a male cheerleader and mascot for the Robinson Knights.
He was well loved by fellow classmates.

David was a talented entertainer, always able to bring a smile to everyone. He worked as a senior dance instructor, and was a freelance actor, comedian, and improv artist. David was part of an Improv Acting team which aired on CCTV in Orlando, circa 2000-2001

David is survived by his loving mother, Geneva "Genny" Williams and brother, Danny Hicks.
