USMC GySgt David Bussey Smoak (Ret.) and Sgt at Florida Deparment of Corrections (Ret.), 79 of Spring Hill, passed away on November 25, 2017. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his wife, Geneva A. Smoak, children, Yvonne, John Micheal and Paul Bryan, and sister. He is survived by his children, David and Amber Smoak, Laurie and John Higgins, and Mary and Bob Pressley, 9 grandchildren, Joshua (Cait), Danielle (Robert), Chris (Samantha), Jesse (Shandell), Nate (Nicole), Austin (Teressa), Bobby (Tara), Christopher and Destany, 3 great grandchildren, Caleb, Arabella and Aurora. He will be missed by many family and friends. Visitation will be held December 1st from 9 to 11 at 280 Mariner. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 at Brewer Chapel. Burial will be held December 1st at 1pm at Florida National Cemetery.
