Donald F. Kopp, 64, of Hudson formerly of Massapequa , New York, passed away December 2, 2017 after a long hard fight with the monster. He was born on November 26, 1953 in Manhattan, New York the son of Francis and Margaret (Simon) Kopp. He retired as an Iron Worker of Union Local 397 of Tampa. Donald was a hard working, honest, true friend and if he liked you, you knew it. He would do anything for a friend. Donald was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle. He was a very proud man and stood by what he believed to be the truth. His favorite past time was "Going Around the Block" on his Harley with his friends. In addition to his parents, Donald is predeceased by his brother, Laurence and granddaughter, Danielle Marie. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, 2 sons, Colby and DJ; daughter, Danielle; 5 grandchildren, CJ, Nicholas, Devin, Brooklyn and Adriana; brother, Eric, many nieces and nephews and loving family. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 9th from 2 to 4 at 280 Mariner with a Celebration of Life to begin at 4pm in the Brewer Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Donald's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
