Eleanor B. Martinov, 95, of Palm Harbor, Florida, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at Harbor Chase Memory Care of Palm Harbor, FL.

She was born June 30, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Sam and Sima Babich. She came to Florida in 1998 after retiring. Eleanor was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Clearwater, Florida. She was a lovely lady; dearly loved by her family, friends, and caregivers at the facility.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William John Martinov; brother, John Babich; sisters, Amy, Goldie, and Mary Ann Babich; and daughter-in-law, Harriett Martinov.

Eleanor is survived by her three sons, John F. Martinov, Michael Martinov and David Martinov; daughter-in-law, Lucy Martinov; granddaughter, Dr. Colleen S. Adkins, MD; grandsons, Craig A. Martinov, Brian Martinov and Dr. Kevin Martinov, PhD; great-grandson, Riley J. Adkins; great-granddaughters, Hannah N. Martinov, Sophia Martinov and Genevieve Adkins ; brothers, Sam Babich (Terri) and William Babich (Judy); and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Florida National Veterans Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Brewer & Sons Cremation and Funeral Services will hold the cremated remains until the final service is held at the FNVC in Bushnell.
