Freeman B. Finnie, 91 of Brooksville passed away March 10, 2017 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice. He was born in Harrisburg, Illinois and moved here in 1971 from Kentucky. He was Baptist by faith. Freeman was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in WWII and worked for Ryder for almost 20 years as a mechanic. He is predeceased by his son, Ronald Finnie. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Martha Finnie of Brooksville; 4 children, Randy Finnie (Vickie) of Kentucky; Rhonda Steed of Georgia; Regina Finnie of Spring Hill; Robin Hustvedt (David) of Minnesota; 10 grandchildren, Jason(Cristina), Beverly (Ernest), Emory(Valerie), Zachary, Conor, Payton, EmmaLee, Broderick, Riddoc and Josephine; great-grandson, Evan; loving family and friends. Graveside service will be held on Wed., March 15th at 2:00 pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with military honors.
