Herman Jozef Van Den Bogaert, 90, of Groveland, FL passed away February 9, 2017 at Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL. He was born April 2, 1926 in Aartselaar, Belgium. He was a proud immigrant to the United States from Belgium. He raised eight children and made a living by truck farming. He was proud to have his family become US Citizens. Herman is predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Maria Van Den Bogaert, and wife Margie Van Den Bogaert, his parents, Ludovicus Van Den Bogaert and Josephina Beirlings, his grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha Van Den Bogaert. He is survived by his sons, Ludo (Willeva) of Plant City, FL, Armand (Sharron) of Darien, GA, Stany (Clarissa) of Rogersville, MO, Jozef (Diane) and Paul (Elphia) of Clermont, FL, and Albert (Kaaren) of Dover, FL, daughters, Rita Van Den Bogaert and Magda (Jerry) Conard of Groveland, FL, brother Joseph of Belgium, 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
