James J. McCormack passed away on April 14, 2019 at his home. He was born in Ireland and was a 20 year New York City Veteran Police Officer. He also retired after 15 years as a Hernando County School Bus driver. James was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge in Spring Hill.
James was pre deceased by his loving wife Margaret. He leaves his children, Margaret (Michael) Devaney, Thomas McCormack (Sandie), Jean (Robert) Rawlins, Michael (Jen) McCormack. He also leaves his 8 grandchildren, Nicole, Jackie, Gracie, Julia, Michael, Bryan, Ashley and Declan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at 280 Mariner Boulevard. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
