Jerome E. (Jerry) Zack, 75, of Spring Hill, passed away October 23, 2017. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 30, 1942, the son of George T. and Sophie L. Zack. In addition to his parents, Jerome was predeceased by his loving wife, Jeannine. He graduated from Tampa Jesuit High School and University of Cincinnati. Jerome was a veteran in the United States Army. He was the past president of Stage West and the co-owner of Spring Hill's first fast-food restaurant, Chik-N-Quik. Jerome is survived by his son, David, of Spring Hill; sister, Jean Zack, of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Sarah, Taylor, Hannah and Cameron; and loving family and friends. A Memorial Mass was held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Mary's Church in Masaryktown. Jerome was laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Jerome's name to the Hospice Unit at James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
