Jerrold Keith Owings passed away at age 83 on August 23, 2016 in Clermont, FL. He was the son of John Hall Owings, Sr. and Mary Eleanor Hutchins of Elkridge, Maryland and grandfather to the late Ryan Meranda.

He was employed as an Engineering Specialist at NSA, Fort Meade, MD for 23 years, retiring in 1977. He was then employed as General Manager at Universal Container, Odessa, FL for 8 years, and was a Real Estate Broker in Mount Dora, FL for 5 years.

Jerrold is survived by his wife, Jane Owings; son Douglas of Longwood, FL; daughter Karen of Palm Harbor, FL; stepson Gregory and his wife Kathy of Dallas, GA; stepdaughter Lori of Oakland, MD and step-grandson Scott and his wife Meagan of Statesboro, GA.
