Joseph John Molinaro,Jr., 92, of Clearwater, FL.(formerly of Port Huron, MI) was welcomed into Heaven on August 22, 2016. Joseph was born on October 22,1923 in Carbondale, PA., the youngest son of Joseph and Mary (Durso) Molinaro.

At age 17, Joseph joined the National Guard, then went into the U.S. Army and served on U.S. bases in Texas and Louisiana before his stint on Okinawa as a hospital admitting clerk until the end of WWII. He would tell everyone who asked that he was in the Army for 5 years, 2 months,10 days, and 3 hours.

After making the move to Port Huron MI, Joe married the" Love of his Life" , Delores Marie Kapus on April 22,1950. Together, they had four daughters (Joe surely loved his girls); Linda Christine, Mary Jo, Kathy Ann and Lisa Marie.

Joe is what you would call " a self-made entrepreneur"; he owned and operated several successful family-run businesses, his legacy being Molinaro Accounting, which he established in the 1950's, and is still in operation today. After Joe retired he really enjoyed playing Golf and catching a Poker game or two with the guys at the Clubhouse.

Joseph is survived by his daughters, Linda C. Schultz (MI), Kathy A. Molinaro (FL), and Mary Jo (Scott) MacDonald (MI); granddaughters, Ann Marie Schultz (MI) and Melissa Lynn Schultz (MI); brother, Basil "Buzz" (Mary Lou) Molinaro (FL); sister-in law, Betty (Ray) Weston (FL); brother-in law, Mike (Ann) Kapus (MI), and many special nieces and nephews.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Delores "Dee"; daughter, Lisa M. Molinaro; son-in-law, Edwin Schultz; his parents; brothers: John, George, and Sammy Molinaro; sisters: Antoinette Bonacci, Margaret " Maggie" Perri and Palma Bonacci; and Special Friend Marguerite Wilson.

If you ever wanted a surefire way to see one of Joe's signature smiles, just set a plate of Mostaccioli with meatballs in front of him or play Patsy Cline on the stereo.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be planned for a later date in Michigan.
