Karen Sue Woolever, 66 of Tampa, Fl. passed away on February 23, 2018. She was born on August 30, 1951 in Waverly, NY. and grew up in Spencer, NY. She moved to Tampa, FL. in 1971. She is preceded in death by her father Taisto O. Kumpula. She is survived by her mother Kathleen (Stevens) Kumpula, daughter Tami Kamp (Scott), son James "Jim" Woolever, Jr. (Laurie), grandchildren Keegan and Cooper Kamp and Savannah Woolever. A Gathering of Memories will be held on Friday March 2, 2018 from 3pm to 4pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 4pm. She was a member of Hugh Strickland American Legion Post 138, held a position on the Auxiliary Executive Board and was a strong supporter of the ALRiders. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the American Legion Post 138, 5535 West Prescott Street, Tampa, Fl. 33616.
