Keegan Michael Lanzisera was born on April 11th, 1997, and for 21 years he lit up the Lanzisera household with his fiery behavior and warm laughter. Keegan passed away in his sleep on August 22nd, 2018 at his home on Davis Islands in Tampa, FL.
Keegan had a loving family, including his mother, Lisa Lanzisera, his father, Frank Lanzisera, his sister, Keely Rosemann, his brother-in-law, Kirk Rosemann, his Grandma Rowe and Grandma Lanzisera, Aunts Annie, Teri, and JoAnne, and Uncle Bobs, and many, many cousins.
Educational pursuits at Lavoy Exceptional Center kept Keegan happy and active for many years. He made friends and loved music and art. The staff will understand his passion for electric toothbrushes and mechanical robots.
At age 6, Keegan learned how to swim. A few years later at age 8, he learned how to walk. He loved swimming in the pool with his father and his sister.
Keegan absolutely loved going out west for vacation during winter and playing in the snow, and equally loved going to the beach. He was a man on the go - golf carting and riding anywhere in the car. If food was included, that was even better.
Keegan was a connoisseur with an refined palette. For instance, he would only eat imported Brie cheese (never domestic), cherry cheesecake, and broccoli cheddar cheese soup (only if it wasn't from a can).
Keegan was an excellent people-meeter, who saw the good in most everyone. He often gravitated to strangers who worked with disabled children.
For those he was friends with, he always left a strong impression. Shaking hands, giving hugs, and giving the ladies the "eye." He was a real flirt.
Keegan learned to live perfectly in an imperfect world.

We would like to thank the members of our church who volunteered to help with his developmental program 3 times day, 7 days a week early on in his life. We also want to especially thank all of our friends who treated Keegan as just another normal kid. This kindness will never be forgotten.
