Lawrence "Larry" Iovannisci of Floral City, Florida; born on September 17, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, went to Heaven at age 69 on May 11, 2018, under the loving care of his family, friends, and Hospice.
Larry served in the U.S. Army from May 1968 until May 1970 and retired after 32 years as a Law Enforcement Officer from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office in 2007. His life and legacy will be remembered by the many lives of those he touched.
Larry loved music, singing karaoke, boating, fishing and especially family game nights.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, JoAnne Iovannisci; his children, Dana Pfaltzgraff and her husband, Mark of Seminole, FL; Michael Iovannisci of Polk City, FL; Tanya Iovannisci of Seminole, FL; Tim Killian and his wife, Tammy of St. Pete, FL; Steven Killian of St. Pete, FL; and Samantha Pauley and her husband, Daniel of Chicago, IL; 8 Grandchildren: Nicholas, Elijah, Maddox, Ethan, Landon, Olivia, Emilie, and Michael; 2 brothers: Tommy Iovannisci of Livonia, MI and Joseph (Loraine) Iovannisci of North Port, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church in Brooksville, FL (date and time will post soon) Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center https://give.moffitt.org
