Lorna (Lori) Bailey passed away peacefully with her best friend and cousin Sheila Johnsen by her side, on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Lori is survived by son Jason Mance of Austin, Texas, daughter Candace Bailey of Palm Harbor, Florida, and many foster children, whom she took care of throughout the years. She is also survived by two brothers Rick (Donna) Vinyard of Hammond Indiana, and James (Laura) Vinyard of Clearwater, Florida, nieces Melody and Ashley Vinyard, nephew Kyle Vinyard, cousin Sheila (Scott) Johnsen, longtime family friend Tom Bernier, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Jimmy and Sue Vinyard.

Lori was born and raised in Hammond, Indiana. As a child, she loved to visit the Indiana Dunes State Park. Her love of the beach and sand took her to Clearwater, Florida as an adult. She would spend the rest of her years in Florida, and loved to be near the water as much as possible. Lori loved music and played the drums. She played drums at home and at her brother's church. If drums were not accessible, she would play anything as if they were drums, including car dashboards. She loved to dance, and grew a passion for arts and crafts. She spent many years designing beautiful scrapbooks for family and friends.

Lori was a positive and free spirit, and was always the life of the party. Her friendly and charming personality made her easy to love. Her generosity and loving heart made those around her depend on her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation and service will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, Dunedin, Florida – with visitation from 4-6PM and a service immediately following. A burial service will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11AM at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown, Indiana.
