Lucio "Lou" T. Montella, Jr., 85, passed away December 14, 2016. He served in the United State Army. Lucio retired after 20 years from the Warwick Police Department and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Also in Rhode Island, he was a Captain of Massasoit Gun Club and owner of Montella Registry Service. In Spring Hill, Florida, he was a member of the Aripeka Elks and the New York State Club. Locio is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Velma, 2 sons, Paul M. Montella and Charles T. Montella, step son, Robert S. Prout, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and loving family and friends. Memorial Service will be held December 28 from 1 to 5 at 280 Mariner Boulevard. Burial will be held in Rhode Island at a later date.
