Mary Jo Biehl, 73, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on July 25, 2017 at Shands Hospital. The Memorial service will be Friday, July 28, at 3pm at Ferndale Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army, or another worthy cause.

Born in Webster City, IA, she grew up with her parents Harold and Mary Wissink, and her brother John in northwest Iowa. After graduating college, she moved to Illinois, where she met Harmon. She truly enjoyed working as a librarian and singing in the church choir. When the family moved to Florida, she continued finding joy with her friends and family, and spending time in her gardens. She loved her adventures and travels, and revisited the memories often with her mementos. One of her favorite hymns was "What a Friend We Have in Jesus":
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Mary Jo is predeceased by her mother, Mary Evans Wissink and her father, Harold Wissink. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Harmon David Biehl; daughters, Anne (Allen) Kidd and Sarah (Corey) Mock; son, Emanuel (Shiara) Kadyebo; brother, John Mark (Nancy) Wissink; grandchildren, Megan and Manny, Jr; niece, Tracy; and nephews, Eric, Matt, and Jake, along with many other family and friends.
