Mary (LaBruzzo) Kemp, age 90, passed away on Friday May 26, 2017. Mary was born and raised in Ybor City, graduated from Hillsborough High School, and lived all of her life in Tampa. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and had a special passion for cooking that blessed us all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie and survived by her children, David (Deb) of TX, Glen (Jane), and Karen all of Tampa. She was Nana to 5 grandchildren, Sally Kemp of CA, Daniel and fiancé (Erica) of Tampa, Katy O'Shea (Kevin) of Tampa, John Michael (Meagan) of TX, and Emmy Lillibridge of Tampa; and 1 great granddaughter, Marley Kemp of TX.
Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was very loved, and will be deeply missed. She attended Christ the King Church and was a faithful Catholic her entire life, may all of her everlasting dreams come true.
Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home (3328 S. Dale Mabry) in Tampa on Thursday, June 1, 2017 where there will be a funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. followed by a procession to Myrtle Hill Cemetery where she will peacefully be laid to rest.
