With her amazing journey in this life complete, Norma May "Jo"Terns, of Spring Hill, Florida and a fine Christian woman, went home to be with The Lord the morning of April 18, 2017. She was born in Detroit, MI on August 21, 1925, the youngest of three children born to Joseph Leo and Susie (Miller) Reisler. She married William Lawson Faull on October 20 1945 in Detroit,Michigan.

Jo and Lawson, as they were commonly known, began taking in foster children to rear with their own daughters in 1952. They continued their foster work when they moved to Florida in 1960 and up until Lawson's sudden passing in 1974, were loving foster parents to over a total of 300 young girls and boys, many of whom she was still in regular contact with all these many years later.Even after all these years, she was still in contact with her Florida case worker Carol Dalton Feehery and once told her, referring to the children, that "They are all my children" and "I treat them all the same. I always think that if one of my own daughters was in a foster home, I know how I would want her treated."

Sometime after William passed on November 18, 1974, she moved back up north to Onsted, Michigan where she was courted by long time friend Howard Joseph Terns. Together they became snowbirds traveling in their RV and after several years married on October 14, 1985. They retired back to this area where they continued to travel in their RV until shortly before Howard passed in 2005.

She was an active member of the Charles E. Murray American Legion Auxiliary Post 186 in Brooksville, Florida where she enjoyed going to bingo, steak shoot and volunteering as much as she could to help out.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Leo & Susie (Miller) Reisler; husbands William Lawson Faull Jr. in 1974, Howard Joseph Terns in 2005 and daughter Jody Lee (Faull) Straight tragically in 1981. She is survived by her children Patricia J. Switzer and her fiancé John M. Friend of Spring Hill, Linda S. Scudamore (Gene) of Port Richey, Karin M. Bovee and her companion Robert Gardner of Clearwater, Timothy W. Faull (Angelika) of Little Rock, AR and stepchildren John Terns, Roben Coury, Sherrie Terns, Susanne Bently, Tina Agopian, Michael Agopian and Michael Lebert. She is also survived by many, many grand children, great grandchildren, foster children and wonderful friends that will all miss her dearly.

At her request, there are no services planned.
