Olen F. Levell III, "Bud," passed away on July 28, 2017 after a long battle with heart disease. Bud was born in Roanoke Virginia and attended Coates Elementary School. His family moved Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he attended Mt. Lebanon High School. After graduating in 1961, he attended Hargraves Military Academy for a short time before joining the 101st Airborne division, where he discovered a passion for sky diving and gun collecting. Bud proudly served his country in the military police. After his honorable discharge from the army, he worked for HJ Heinz and PPG before beginning a lifetime career in real estate. He won many sales awards during his career. Bud was also a member of the Rough Riders, which support many local charities. One of his favorite activities was delivering teddy bears to children in the hospital. Bud was known for the ability to make and keep good friends. He will be missed by so many. Bud is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jane Carter and his father, Olen F. Levell Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Ellinor and Kim Levell-Becker; son, Scott Levell; sister, Ann Junod; and grandchildren, Abigail and Mary Ellinor and Owen Becker. Services will be held at Brewer and Sons funeral home.
