Phyllis Lane, 73 of Brooksville passed away November 25, 2017. She was born in Leeds, New York where she was raised on a Dairy Farm, and came to Florida 41 years ago from Louisiana.
She had a smile that would light up the room, but when she was mad you knew it. Phyllis loved her animals, and her family. Her grand kids were her life, and for the last 7 years she spent raising her great-grandson, Rylie Rice. She enjoyed her horse, chickens, birds and fish.
Phyllis is predeceased by her father and mother, James and Lillian Beers, and her brother, Robert Clark Beers.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Lane of Brooksville; sons, David and Jerry Lane of Brooksville, and James Lane and his wife, Ashleigh of Texas; daughters, Ellen (Lane) Lufcy and Wendy Lane, both of Brooksville; daughter-in-law, Darcy Lane of Venice; granddaughters, Tabitha Higdon of Brooksville; Tiffany Templin and her husband, Richard of Crawfordville; Harley Lufcy of Brooksville; Natchez Hanson of Palm Coast; Nicole Hanson of Minnesota; grandsons, Cody Higdon of Brooksville; Douglas Lane of Brooksville; Brandon Lane of Tennessee; Chadd Lane of Texas; great grandson, her pride and joy, Rylie Rice of Brooksville; loving family and friends.
