Sam Guess, born January 29, 1931 in Altoona, AL. passed away on July 12, 2017. Predeceased by daughter Doris "Marie" Guess. He is survived by the love of his life of 63 years Julia Guess, children; Delores Williams, Sam A. Guess and grandchildren; Steven Williams, Juliana Guess and Sam J. Guess.
Sam served the South Tampa area for over 30 years with his body shop and wrecker service. He was a well-respected member of the "Port" Tampa community. Sam was generous, a great mentor and assisted others in getting business. In his retirement, he was an avid Bass fisherman who participated in many tournament organizations around the state.
